The federal and state rules against bullying are frequently updated by the authorities. The dangerous thing about workplace bullying is it can get astonishingly violent also.

Bullies may stop other employees from approaching the management with their concerns. They can use several methods for achieving this. Most of the workplace bullies are in management positions or in positions where they have power. They resort to this kind of behavior because they get pleasure out of controlling another person’s behavior. Also, workplace bullies are habitual bullies, and are basically insecure people themselves.

The employment law states that if any person bullies at workplace, then they can be fired for that, and their employment can be terminated with minimal or no notice. Also, the employing company can take severe action if they find the bullying bothering several employees.

Bullying is an act that is only committed by a bully. There are usually two alternatives for this kind of behavior. The behavior can be changed by the perpetrator, or the employer can take measures to change the situation. Also, the employer can recommend the bully to get appropriate psychiatric help. However, the employment laws also require a proof of bullying by the person who is being blamed, or else it would mean victimization.
